Hi Marc,

if you don't have a Flatfee one smily is counted for one image in high resolution. If you disable the checkbox "high resolution" you don't have to pay any smilys no matter how many personalised images are in the document.

While using the Database Output there is no checkbox "high resolution" that can be disabled. You can create images with low resolution if you set up the options to 72 dpi and 600 pixel width. If you select 5 names and enable "export selected records only" you need only one smily.

Another helpful thing that I forgot to mention:

You only have to pay smilys for a job if you generate the images in high resolution the first time!

If you change neither the DirectSmile Set nor the database you can generate the images in high resolution as often as you want without paying smilys again.

With the lot of existing opinions about how they can be made to full use, I don't think that there are a lot of users who would oblige to doing something that you have suggested here.

And though there are a number of possible attacks by which you could go with it, you just have to be more familiar with the ways and different changes so as not to get things mixed up that easy.
